DIDyouKNOW - Third Degree Glass Factory

Third Degree Glass Factory is the second business we are featuring in our DIDyouKNOW section of our series!

This artisan glass gallery & studio, open 10 AM - 5 PM everyday, offers classes plus monthly events with music & demonstrations and is a place where the community artists can come create and sell their artwork.

Something you may not know about the company is that co-found of Third Degree Jim McKelvey is also the mind behind Square, INC. In February 2009, Jim McKelvey lost a sale because he couldn’t accept a card payment from a customer for one of his creations. He teamed up with Jack Dorsey to remedy this problem -- by creating Square.
