Along with encouraging the students to dream and plan, STL | LIFT helps the students prepare for the future they aspire to live. This is accomplished through internships and job shadowing opportunities like the one Danise, featured two weeks, got to participate in. Another way the program helps prepare the students for the future is through Learning Bootcamp, which both Danise and her sister Chanel attend.

Chanel is a lively spirit, always photo ready, and serious about her education. She attends Learning Bootcamp, STL | LIFT's new summer supplemental education and ACT prep course. LOVEtheLOU volunteers serve as tutors to the students and provide one-on-one tutoring or small-group assistance.
